This poster was purchased in Yosemite in 1994 by my parents. It was hung on the wall outside my childhood bedroom and inspired me for my entire youth and yet I do not know who these people are, when the photo was taken or what route it is.
Can anyone identify these people for me? I've been wondering for many many years. Thank you for your help.

There's a R&I or Climbing article as well - something about how it rained hard for dayz and someone found Jesus or something. The route became quite popular thereafter, and thus totally beat out with loads of fixed heads - not so much an A4 anymore. Go for it. Despite the dramatic angles in those photos, the route strikes me as pretty blocky and contrived overall - it's just those 2 pitches.

I love that article. The hubris and eventual humility of that ascent resonated deeply with me.
