It's been 36 years. Is that off of Camp V or Camp VI?
It's been 24 years. That's looking down from the Glowering Spot to Camp 5. Great pitch, great spot on El Cap.

Nice symmetry. 48, 36, 24 years ago. Now we need someone from 12 and 60 years ago to step up. But 60 years ago would be the first ascent party.
Might go up to NH a solo Mordor Wall this fall since it's been gutted over the years. Ballsy 2nd pitch by you. I first did it in 1990 and it had two additional bolts by then. 1993 it had another bolt. Then did it again 1999 and it had a couple of more bolts. Then did it in 2001 and it had even more bolts and was almost a complete clip up, notwithstanding the first pitch. SMH.

The Glowering Spot!
I remember glowering down on the group of spaniards who were trying to get to camp V, and were asking us to fix *another* pitch for them... which ended up turning into quite the friggin debacle...
