Hi all

I went on an alpine climbing trip to the Bernese Oberland in the Swiss Alps together with some friends. We brought a few newcomers, who are strong sports climbers, but have never tried alpine climbing before. We shot a video about their first experience - including climbing the Eiger via the Mittellegi Ridge.

Check it out!

Feedback is very welcome :)

Thank you for the post! The views are amazing and inspiring. I hope to climb one of the great peaks in the Alps in the next few years.

Very nice story, narrative, and beautiful photography! Relaxing soundtrack. Loved it! I just added the Berner Trilogy to my list of "climbs to do." Keep up the good work! Thanks for sharing!

PS: So did your trip successfully convert the sport climbers to alpinist?

This is a well-constructed story with beautiful images, nice pacing, and crisp editing.
It is inspiring to see a particular freshness in the eyes of those who are being introduced to this rigorous, potentially dangerous, and (most importantly) to this very rewarding pursuit.

I've been a few times. Over the course of around 30 years.

Have friends going soon. Can't wait to see how their trip goes.
