It's interesting to see the roles people try and play - as though any properly formed male is going to be "offended" by pictures of toned, nude females, though it shouldn't be surprising that some jump at the chance to drag identity politics (the very signature of the agenda-driven yahoo) into the fray. But I never thought I'd see such posturing in a climber's website.

There’s nothing like controversy (drama) to attract attention—and attention seems to “sell” more than “benefits” or “lower price” these days. Look at the news feeds.
I think we all have our own ideas about what constitutes “art.” It’s my experience (as an engaged “artist”—ha ha) that most people expect art to be pretty.

I think we came to agreement 1000 posts and 2 deleted threads ago it was probably art and not porn. However, the background theme of a bunch of middle age voyeurs defending their pleasure - err, I mean Dean's small group of friends defending his "art" - has been pretty consistent - and super creepy.

That's one of the weakest spins you'll ever read on a climbing web site, that some neutered, faux puritan finds it "super creepy" that properly formed males AND females enjoy an artful nude. To those trending in the opposite direction, professional help is indicated.

I've spent my entire life with friends or in groups working out half naked, sweating, grunting - while climbing, running, weights - clad in short shorts, sport bras, whatever. Thing is I'm there together with them in person. The women are generally either near my age and/or ability, friends, I know their friends, their boyfriends, their husbands, maybe family too. Wonderful stuff, the best times of my life, love it.
So over walks this guy, watching from a distance, asks if one of the women will take the rest of her cloths off so he can take nude photos and make a fuk'n calendar or something - for his voyeur friends from a generation past and losers who can't go find a girl to get naked themselves. Super mega creepy.

Maybe Chris doesn't want a bunch of nude girl photos coming up on searches - thus banning his site from many parental and workplace filters, thus significantly effecting his revenue. Dean (and you) are self absorbed and clueless on this one.
Have some class and delete this thread, too, IMO, before someone does it for you.
It certainly had nothing to do with the fuk'n obvious - that these discussions were interspersed with pictures of naked girls generally about 1/2 the age of the discussion participants - pictures generally posted by the OP, and solely to incite and for personal monetary gain - all while putting at risk CM's means of making a living. So totally classless.
The reality you fail to acknowledge is the owner of this site found the threads unacceptable. You defending them and starting a new one, IMO, makes you an a$$.
apparently your assumptions were not correct.
