Say I’m picking up someone @ DIA ( I know, DEN, now) on Friday and we’re heading up to Vedauwoo. What’s the quickest in and out option? I don’t want to drive all the way into Boulder.
Fort Collins?

How about Costco?

Are things really so bad in your life that you have to take it out on random strangers on the internet for mentioning Trader Joes?

Dunno about TJ's buy there is a Costco right off (visible from) I25 as you drive into FoCo from the south. (You are right that Boulder is pretty out of the way if you just want to drive from DIA to Wyoming)

Sounds like BJ needs to get out and get some (climbing, sex, or both). The folks working at Trader Joes are consistently more pleasant than at a normal supermarket, and the product selection is pretty good, especially for stuff that you don't need to cook on a climbing trip. They don't have as much organic produce as I would like, and their spice selection is a bit thin, and they don't cater very well to people with gluten or lactose intolerance. And they typically skimp on parking lots. But aside from those quibbles, it's my favorite grocery store- sits nicely between the old-fashioned supermarkets and Whole Paycheck.

My only gripe with them is when they have something good and the demand is there, they throw a curve ball and discontinue it. WTF??? I don't give a rats ass if rotating products is done in order to hit the corporate demographic survey numbers!! F#ck dat! Tighten up your ship, TJ's and listen to your consumers not your data base!!!

"Nitrogen infused" Ha...ridiculous. Air is ~80% nitrogen infused, thus that could be put on any label.

TJs is a staple for expedition foodstuffs. I loved the fact that I used to shop at the very 1st original TJs back in the day (in Pasadena), first opened in the 1950's.

Just avoid shopping at TJs when the LAPD is indiscriminately firing into the storefront with careless abandon at a fleeing perp. They just killed the Trader Joe's store manager in Silver Lake. Perhaps these officers need to review Jeff Cooper's 4 rules of gun safety?

1) Treat all guns as if loaded at all times 2) Never point the barrel toward anything you don't want to destroy 3) Keep finger off trigger until sights are on the target 4) Be sure of your target and what's behind it

Safe travels Jaybro.
I like the flattened mangos and bananas, amazing long lasting feta, dense rye bread, and although there is a lot of packaging their 6 pack of teriyaki seaweed. great and cheap cheeses.

Heading there this afternoon in my berkenstalks. Its too hot for my puffy

Damn, that camera footage seems like a Hollywood movie.

When I first moved to SoCal about 5 years ago, that was my main grocery store, along with the Gelson's across the street. We ended up not buying a house in Silver Lake after living there for 6 months, because of the crime. Weird mix of expensive houses and families trying to convince themselves that gentrification has made it safe, but the crime stats don't lie. We almost made an offer on a house where the walking path to the nearest school had an unsolved murder (5 shots to the chest) on the sidewalk at 4pm in afternoon, just a month before. And within the few months before that, a pizza delivery guy was chased down for a mile and shot in the head. The police maps of burglary and violent crimes is dense all along Sunset Boulevard and still quite a bit throughout the area.

Edit: Dingus! That meltdown video is hilarious! Ring the bell!
