Follow the money!
The simple explanation is Trump Inc depends on oligarch money.
It certainly appears he is part of several money laundering schemes.

No, Trump is not colluding with Putin. He knows what he is doing...keeping his friends close and his enemies closer. No better way to make your adversaries play nice...

Care to explain why he's alienating all of our allies? Canada, England, Germany etc. I'd say what you have to say above is a contradiction and far from the truth. Did you have your FOX cereal this morning, complete with Trump "decoder ring"?

America is becoming the world’s biggest pushover.

After his meeting with Putin, Trump had a look on his face that I’ve seen before. I’m guessing that look was due to having his leash yanked very, very, hard by the guy who has played him for a fool.

He had that same look the night the election results were announced. When he realized that he was going to be performing tricks on the world stage as the lap dog of Putin, he was justifiably scared.

He had that same look after his one-on-one with Obama in the Oval Office before he took power. I can’t imagine what was said, but he was clearly scared.

I feel sorry for Trump. When he smiles it’s almost always masking pain or something twisted. The only time I can remember him smiling from the heart was the day he met with the Russians in the Oval Office. It must be very sad to be that confused.

The FBI was out to get Trump from the beginning. Why would he trust what they had to say?

The CIA, FBI, NSA, DIA, HSD, marine corps intelligence, navy intelligence, DONI, and the state department have unanimously agreed along with the Republican led Senate investigation that Russia interfered with our election.

I'm going with everyone else's word over Trump/Hannity and Putin.

OMG, Trump is so f'ing stupid. He thinks changing "would" to "wouldn't" fixes everything. Such a F'ing liar.

Replace every reference to “trump” with “obama” in every story about this summit and the reactions would be interesting.

Conservative leaning columnist George Will summed in up nicely today in an oped in the Washington Post....”this sad, embarrassing wreck of a man.”

You just have to remember that Jody is a man without morals.

He takes kids to meet another man without morals, Cruz, and makes him out to be a moral leader. Jody makes a big deal out of Cruz repudiating Trump, after Trump slimes Cruz's father.

A few weeks go by, then Cruz gets down on his knees and sings the Trump song.....and for protecting his father, Cruz gets placed on Trump's "do not touch" list.

Trump doesn't forget. Would that Jody had that attribute. You can see him throwing his own children under the bus, if convenient.

The summit may not have been Trump's finest hour, but he admitted he made a mistake, and it seems to be straightened out now.

The important thing is that the markets have done pretty well recently, so it's not like any of this stuff really matters, it's just silly bickering. Keep you eye on the prize (the markets) and don't be distracted by meaningless detail.

As Tensions With U.S. Worsen, Europe Courts New Partners
By JACK EWING 2:17 PM ET

The European Union is hunting for free-trade deals in Asia and Latin America to help compensate for lost business with the United States. On Tuesday, it signed its largest trade deal ever, a pact with Japan.

The economy had been clawing its way back from 2008 for the last 8 years, and was strong in the first year of Trump. A rule of thumb is you save the big spending bills (and deficit spending) for when you need to prime the economic pump.

We just primed a pump that did not need priming. It makes Trump look good in the short term, spending money he does not have, but the bill will come due eventually. After he leaves office. As he always does.

Jesus Jody, you don’t have much ammo in this discussion, at least get your facts straight....the owner of the National Enquirer is a self proclamed Trump supporter.

It’s likely where Trump came up with “fake news” he’s unlikely to have come up with it on his own.

You'd hope that Trump, liar extraordinaire that he is, would have a leg up on recognizing other liars. Apparently, not so. His narcissism and stupidity trump his bad character.

who could tell so may lies
He had a different story
for every set of eyes
How can he remember
who he's talkin' to?
Cause I know it ain't me
