Oh man....you guys and gals.... just too much! This is beautiful! Nothing like knowing you have a whole tribe behind you when you’re (almost) down and out.

I am feeling quite well. Stamina needs to build back up but gut problems mostly resolved.
I’m on 10 more days of oral antibiotics. I’ve kinda gone Shakespearean with a lot of hand washing, thinking about hand sanitizer etc. I’ve got some basic tent camping coming up with my doggie and thinking about ways to stay as clean as possible. I’ve never been a germ aphobe and I don’t want to become one but having a systemic infection certainly makes you think about things.

Thanks so much again...I am very moved!

Susan.

Glad to know you've been kicked out of the hospital. 10 days - eeeps! - we all know they barely let you past the admitting desk unless it's serious.

Having survived many third world villages (just barely sometimes), the trick is not to worry about dirt unless it goes in your mouth. As long as you can keep your food and water clean, all the dust and camp smoke in the world won't cause you any problems - unless of course you have an open wound. Have fun camping with your doggie.

Susan- So very glad to hear that you have made it through this ordeal and are back in the saddle. You are one of the brightest lights in this crew and deserve no less than a full recovery. Enjoy the simple things like dinner and your animal pal and come back to grace us with your estimable presence moving down the road...
