Hear ye hear ye...

Let it be known upon the final law of the universe (The King James Bible).

Anything any government has ever done is rightous in the eyes of your lord. As the Lord commandeth you to obey your government the lord ordained and put in place.

So says the Herald

Always interesting to read a little further when the bible gets cited as authority

Romans 13:10 New International Version (NIV)
10 Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

what about the murder of disrespectful children???

You can't murder them for being disrespectful. But if two woman both claim to be the child's mom, you are allowed to cut the child in half.

Speaking of the sins that ensure extinction in the Bible, Ezekiel 16:49 tell us what the sin of Sodom was that brought forth its destruction with fire and brimstone.

Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.

And Leviticus adds:

Leviticus 19:34 The alien who resides with you shall be to you as the citizen among you; you shall love the alien as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

So the Lord your God tells you to love aliens as you love yourselves.

And Colossians adds:
Collossians 3:11 In that renewal there is no longer Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and free; but Christ is all and in all.

And in the New Testament, Mathew has this:

Matthew 25: 35 I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.

Matt. 25:40 Truly I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of my brethren you did it to me.

Right after the part of Romans Sessions quotes about obedience to law, Were are Told:

Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law

You can find more quotes on being kind to strangers i Exodus, John, and Jeremiah and the parable of the Good Samaritan ( who is your neighbor?) . ,

but the greatest examples is that when the young Jesus and his family fled to Egypt to avoid the massacre of the innocents, they were not separated by anyone.

Lorenzo! I like those, be kind to strangers, Biblical Quotes.

It appears America's Evangelical Christians are no-longer following Biblical Quotes, that don't preach hatred.

It's all part of Trump-Worship!

It’s not just kindness to strangers that the Bible counsels us on, but or relationship with the law. For instance , in
10All who rely on works of the Law are under a curse. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.” 11And it is clear that no one is justified before God by the Law, because, “The righteous will live by faith.” 12The Law, however, is not based on faith; on the contrary, “The one who does these things will live by them.”…

It would seem that government was the #1 cause of death during the 20th century.

Democide = Death by government.

Significant 20th century democides
The following based on Matthew White's web site [1] lists the significant democides where the death rate can be estimated to exceed 1,000,000. Accurate figures are difficult to establish and many estimates tend to reflect particular biases. In speaking of the Rwanda and Burundi democides White concludes that the toll was "700,000 to 1,600,000 more or less". Several of these amounts include a significant portion of famine deaths.
World War II (1937-1945) 51,000,000
Mao's China (1949-1975) 42,000,000
Stalin's Soviet Union (1924-1953) 20,000,000
World War I (1914-1918) 16,800,000
Nationalist China (1928-1937) 9,600,000
Russian Civil War (1917-1922) 8,900,000
Congo Free State (1886-1908) 8,000,000
Warlord China (1917-1928) 6,800,000
North Korea (1948-now) 4,600,000 (not including the Korean War)
Democratic Republic of the Congo (1998-now) 3,300,000
Chinese Civil War (1945-1949) 3,000,000
Nigeria (1966-1970) 3,000,000
Korean War (1950-1953) 2,900,000
German expulsions (1945-1947) 2,100,000
Second Indochina War (1960-1975) 1,900,000
Pol Pot's Cambodia (1975-1978) 1,800,000
Sudan (1983-now) 1,500,000
Ethiopia (1962-1992) 1,500,000
Bangladesh (1971) 1,500,000
Afghanistan (1979-2001) 1,400,000
Mozambique (1975-1993) 1,100,000
Mexico (1910-1920) 1,000,000
Armenia (1915-1923) 1,000,000
Rwanda and Burundi (1959-1995) 1,000,000
Iran-Iraq War (1980-1988) 1,000,000
The total of these is 196,500,000

straight down the middle or across at the waist?

It would have to be straight down the middle. You want the two halves to be as symmetric as possible or the alleged moms will just argue who gets the top and who gets the bottom.

When you want to get a good idea where all this is headed, you have to look back to how England, Scotland and Ireland were governed during the Interregnum in the 17th century when the Puritans and Oliver Cromwell had total control of the government. You'll observe that the first thing they did was close all the theaters, then on from there, to full-blast genocide for the Catholic "heretics" living in Ireland. Luckily, the British people finally got sick and tired of all this reactionary stuff and the descendants of the Puritans moved over here to America. Is there going to be an American re-run? Are we going to start killing all those brown Mexican Catholics to "make America white again"?

Seems like you missed a lot of horror stories that government has brought down on their own citizens. Maybe overstated a few as well. But regardless, we privileged Americans often take what we have in this country for granted, giving this list to folks and discussing our history vis a vis the sh#t show that the world can be at times isn't a bad thing at all. Watching the US Executive branch obtain more and more power over the years has been a tad disturbing. Equally troubling is the part the US often plays to help as#@&%e leaders of other countries play dirty. Thanks for the refresher Reeotch that we need to remain vigilant.

Cambodia
"The Cambodian Killing Fields are a number of sites in Cambodia where collectively more than a million people were killed and buried by the Khmer Rouge regime, during its rule of the country from 1975 to 1979, immediately after the end of the Cambodian Civil War. The mass killings are widely regarded as part of a broad state-sponsored genocide"

Argentina:
"... many of the captives were heavily drugged and loaded onto aircraft, from which they were thrown alive while in flight over the Atlantic Ocean in the so-called "death flights" or (vuelos de la muerte), so as to leave no trace of their death"

Guatemala
"An estimated 40,000 to 50,000 individuals were disappeared by the Guatemalan military and security forces between 1954 and 1996. The tactic of disappearance first saw widespread use in Guatemala during the mid-1960s, as government repression became widespread when the military adopted harsher counterinsurgency measures. The first documented case of forced disappearance by the government in Guatemala occurred in March 1966, when thirty Guatemalan Party of Labour associates were kidnapped, tortured and killed by the security forces; their bodies were put in sacks and dumped at sea from helicopters. This was one of the first major instances of forced disappearance in Latin American history.[67] When law students at the University of San Carlos used legal measures (such as habeas corpus petitions) to require the government to present the detainees at court, some of the students were "disappeared" in turn"

Donini quote
"America, under Trump is moving towards a caliphate. Be guarded....Hitler was, early on, underestimated by nearly everyone and suddenly...it was too late."

Well Jim, it seems that once we can finally get all of our friends, neighbors and relatives disarmed so that President Trump (the commander and chief of the US military) will have the military, FBI, CIA, and large corporations under his control and we will not need to worry over any of that at all. All of us will finally be "safe" from all this gun violence the media continuously harps on about. Never mind that Mexico has all but disarmed all law abiding citizens and that's pretty much made the honest folks prey for out of control criminals and criminal police and criminal soldiers. That can't happen here.

Professor Stephen Halbrook's works explores how France was all but screwed having made the mistake of disarming not long before the Nazis invaded. No one saw that happening a few short years later. Meanwhile back in Germany, the Wiemar Republic gun registration laws made it easy to tick off a list and find all of the armed Jews, Communists and Social Democrats (if the NAZI's were Republicans, the Social Democrats were the democrats) to clamp down on.

But that can't happen here.
Quote:
"History has shown, over and over, that totalitarian regimes of all stripes, for self-preservation, work to disarm their populations. Our Founding Fathers knew this, and so we are blessed that when all else
fails, our Second Amendment rights are our final backstop, providing the most effective safeguard of liberty."
