Einstein's travel diaries reveal 'shocking' xenophobia

It's quite common really.

The May 2018 issue of Smithsonian Magazine has a good article about Einstein's world tour to Japan in 1922.

He liked the Japanese & especially Japanese women.

He also liked Japanese women—actually, he liked the women pretty much everywhere he went—although he was uncharacteristically tight-lipped about what he saw in them: “On the exquisiteness of the Japanese woman, this flower-like creature—I have also remained reticent; for here the common mortal must cede the word to the poet.”

It's all relative anyway....

Shows the brainwashing of modern people.

There is absolute reality also.

There is no escape from absolute reality ....

Yea. And the brainwashing seems to mostly be people believing what they believe is the truth, and the reason that they believe it is because it’s the truth.

I wouldn’t say that’s a modern thing though - that’s been in the works for 4 billion years. Brains were made to be washed by whatever information comes their way, with the primary directive of the brain being survival of the fittest, or something like that.

Einstein was a human too?! Who woulda thunk?

I've never had to worry about being brilliant--but I sure am an idiot.
