Just after the two leaders met in Singapore, Trump appeared on ABC News where he claimed that Kim’s “country does love him” and North Koreans “have a great fervor.”
Illustrations by Kwon Hyo Jin given to the the UNHRC’s Commission of Inquiry by Kim Kwang-il, a former detainee, depict scenes of torture, starvation and rat infestations within the camps.

Someone with nuclear arms is going to give them up because someone else with nuclear arms wants them to, while keeping theirs. Sounds like a deal that can't be refused.

Tuesday’s agreement included a commitment by Kim to work toward the “complete denuclearization” of the Korean peninsula, but the terms “verifiable” and “irreversible” were conspicuously absent from the document.
It failed to explicitly define the scope of denuclearization, and didn’t outline how North Korea might go about achieving it.

Trump has been utterly owned by Kim from start to finish. Period.
The verbiage "work toward complete denuclearization" in the agreement is a vague promise and very far cry from the "complete, verifiable, and irreversible denuclearization" which has been the explicit basis of our negotiations with North Korea up until yesterday.
This lack of any mention of formal verification in the agreement is highly troubling and casts serious doubt about any real chance of success. As it stands now the summit has delivered little more than a legitimizing photo op for Kim on the international stage.

Trump has absolutely dominated the international media cycle for a couple of days.
He got great pageantry, a great photo op, a chance to look presidential, and his base is loving it.
Sounds like winning to me.
So both of them made promises they have absolutely no intention of keeping. What else is new?

What did someone say? Their ITunes agreement is more restrictive than Trumps nuclear sanctions.

Faux News got it wrong. It was not a meeting between to dictators, it was a meeting between one dictator and a wannabe.

Yep, a free press is truly the biggest enemy of the state. Only state sanctioned media is to be believed. The war on reality continues unabated.

a free press
What's the mythical "free press" I keep hearing about? Is corporate-owned press somehow better than State-owned press? If so, why?
I thought that you guys HATE mega-corps.
Precious little of that "free" stuff around!

Oh, I forgot. tRump says Kim's people really love him. That is the kind of unconditional love tRump is yearning for.
