No, but remember when Trump threw out the new Kennedy assassination theory?

I think Trump was the second gun man...

Of course, Trump is the king of hubris, wearing an imaginary invisibility cloak. He has lived his entire adult life in the headlines, actively pushing himself on reporters. Suddenly, though, he thinks his past is unknowable, and that nobody will ever find out what he has done. He condemns his past to a magical memory-hole by chanting, "FAKE NEWS!"

It's not working.

Seems to be working so far.

the Dems take back the Congress, providing a brake on the actions of the President, with the possibility of removal from office if the right stuff emerges.

In the House maybe. But Dems aren't likely to have 2/3 of the Senate.

I could see Trump firing Mueller and/or some report with all the "right" stuff coming out and R's saying "so what" and go on supporting Trump.

I well remember the Clinton times, and saying what a pig he was. And yes - many people said "His personal life has nothing to do with his ability to be president."

Bill Clinton was definitely a sex addict. He was also a hanger-arounder of that Epstein dude(as was Donald Trump), who was actually arrested for sex with minors, if I recall right.

That a married politician is sleeping around doesn't automatically bother me. Now if a male politician goes on and on about family values and gets caught paying a male prostitute for sex, yes they should be hammered for that.

That Bill Clinton was a womanizer didn't bother me. I did figure it was mostly between him and Hillary.

At the time, the media didn't really take the sexual harrassment charges against him seriously and neither did I. In retrospect the charges against him and a lot of other people should have been taken more seriously. That society is now doing so is a positive change.

I think the sexual harrassment charges against Trump should be taken seriously. Although if I was going to make a list of the top 20 reasons why Trump should be impeached, I doubt it would make the list.

Although the fact that Trump has paid hush money to women is really troubling and that might make the list for reasons for impeachment. Hush money opens up the possibility of blackmail. Given that Trump doesn't seem to have a problem with paying hush money, how much more hush money has Trump paid that we don't know about? Who is able to ask for political favors as a result of that?

I hope Mueller sheds some light on all of that.

Stormy will say they had sex several times in and around 2006 while he was married. That in itself is still quite a revelation, but considering she had previously described sex with Donald as “vanilla” I doubt any kinky or weird beans will be spilled.

I believe that another divorce is in trump's future.

I believe that creating market instability by raising tariffs at the same time he's being sued by these women will be what really brings Trump down. But a nasty divorce in the middle of all of this could be the icing on the cake.

We’re stuck with him until at least 2020. Republicans will not do anything to oppose him, they’re too scared of his base.

The guy is going down fast. His approval rating just went up to 40%. No way that guy can get elected!

Bruce Morris - How do you know this?

You can learn a lot about the world by cultivating friendships with and interviewing whores. They know a whole lot about the world they don't teach you in graduate school.

When they complain that you're "too rough" that means they're no good and lazy.

Try it. You'll like it!

Trump's attorney Michael Cohen will wish he had quit a long time ago.

Cohen is claiming that he acted on his own when he formed the LLC, paid Stormy Daniels and wrote up the NDA. He says Trump knew nothing of what was going on, and that Trump was not his client in that situation. He said he did it all on his own, for his own personal reasons.

That means that Cohen can't plead attorney-client privilege, and can be indicted along with everybody else. Trump's latest move, to personally sue Daniels in Federal court, directly contradicts Cohen's fictitious narrative. Trump is flailing around so uncontrollably, he is feeding his own lawyers to Mueller.

A Scorched Earth Policy normally involves burning the opponent's resources to starve him into submission. In Trump's abnormal world, his Scorched Earth Policy is to burn his own resources, to distract attention away from himself.

Now he's replaced McMaster with uber-hawk and neocon John Bolton. Somehow I don't feel safer.

Now it might piss off Warbler, but I'd rather see Michelle Obama kick Trump's punk ass.

He's draining the swamp. Few of his Fire-ees will have those powerful positions offered to them again. Think about it. I wouldn't vote for the clown but the verdict is still out on the outcome.

The playboy model who had an affair with him says that Trump compared her to Ivanka! And that he offered to pay her afterwards.

This thing is a gold mine. I can’t wait until it goes into reruns. I wonder how high his approval rating will climb now?

We might have it backwards. We’re f*#ked. He’s not.
