I am going to try very hard to be there. My girlfriend and I are having our first child next month. Jims Memorial will be maybe three weeks after he is born. If I can swing it, we'll be there. I only met Jim once and I feel like I don't have a place at this table, however Jim Bridwell was a hero to me. A rockstar among climbers if you will. His style is unparralled. When I did meet him we talked about how climbing in the media lacked grit. It made my day to chat with him about that. To all his friends and those who knew and loved him, I say cheers. You all were very fortunate.
Efit to add, I changed a few things I wrote. Aldo, Laytons painting of him is great. I hope it is on displ ay at gge Memorial. Really really good stuff.

Looking for a few willing to do some "work" for Jim to sign up for the "work party". Not a lot of labor, but need some help with day of set up and tear down. Let me know if you can be there to help out.
