Ron, I'll say 99.9% certain I'll attend, will prob carpool with Rosneau from SLO. Only have time to stay one night but look forward to it. Will likely leave butt-early to expedite the drive, so will have time to help setup if necessary, and happily help after as well.

cheers, Christian Hesch~

George Ridgley would like to attend the memorial. If there is still room in Yellow Pine I'd like to stay there as well. Happy to help with organizational stuff also.
Thanks,
G

Sending kudos to you, Ron. The various components of an event like this require devotion, patience, and focus (aka time). So, energetically applauding and appreciating what you (and Dave, Dale, Ken, Layton, & Peggy) are creating! See you soon.

I have not made camping arrangements yet. Would there still be space for Becky and me in Yellow Pines? We would be much obliged.

Many thanks....Jim and I were CLOSE buddies. It's the least I (we) could do for him. He would want a simple celebration, gathering of all his friends in friendships. You would know what it takes to put this together as YOU sent your Father off in grand style with many friends having many smiles, hugs and Love spread all around.

So sad. My wife Terry had exactly the same condition, at the same time, and was on the same list. The one major difference between the two cases is she did receive a donor transplant three years ago. .maybe if just one more person had signed the donor card.....

Glad your wife received her transplant. In retrospect, wonder if some of the signs and symptoms I saw years ago would have made a difference!? Kills me sometimes to think something may have been done if I could have seen into the future. I'll never forget the phone call in January he and I had.....was the beginning of the end. Literally less than 2 months and he passed. But I will say....he faced it head on, no denial, blamming, no feeling sorry for himself. I miss Jim.

I not only feel your pain Ron, but I know what it's like when you think perhaps you could have done better for the people you love and care about. Regardless, we all have today and the people still in our lives we love.
