F-ing cold nights. Does it get warm enough in the days to climb? And if a wanker showed up sans partner are there enough people there to find a partner?
TIA

THIS winter would be the ultimate. Temps about 20 degrees above average, no precip to speak of, so far . . .
Let me know, dude, I'll meet you up there.

Not sure about none to speak of, last weekend was a washout between snow Saturday and rain Monday.
This weekend looks dry but the following one looks similar to last.

Actually, it's been wet the last few days. Hopping it dries out for Saturday.
I climbed in the creek several days last week, and did an ancient Art.
I was in castle valley today to scope something and came back to town because it was too wet. Got rained on on the river road. And I hear, that an ottoman sized Boulder, probably loosened by the last few days rain, fell off and clobbered the belay position for thirty seconds over potash.
Have a droog down in the creek today doing a bear's ears thing. I'll get a report in time for burger night at the brewery tonight. Supposed to be nice next week. Like Rich implies, we've had a lot of great, climbable days so far this winter. Was down to 15° and snowed a couple nights ago, though.
I mean....
......nothing to see here, move on....

Ok, jeez
Climbers got to complain about the one little in-law chaser we've had all winter. Up until now it has been balmy and dry!
We need the moisture bad.
Rocker, if you can get out here before April you can miss out on the spring wind storms, but march is notoriously stormy.

It has been a dry winter, just thought I’d share my experience from last week since he specifically asked about Feb.
As long as you have the self control not to climb if conditions dictate(regardless of how far you drive/flew, how much you’ve always wanted to climb xyz , even if it’s your last chance for years, etc) then I’d say go for it. We had a great time slickrock walking last week, plenty of non climbing activities in the area.

Something blowing in now, but this is the mildest southern Utah winter in memory.
Forty years ago I was working on Dream of Dead Horses. Nights were in the 20s, but, since it was up high, things heated up early with sun. Sometimes even T shirt weather. Just need a good book for the long nights.

Yep.
I've had 50/50 days following Thanksgiving thru April 1. Some great some snowy. Locals will know though...as far as partners...I would think if a chill person met a chill person it would be all chill. Its cragging in a chill place...
