I'm wondering why, when data is limited to snow activity, there are lines in San Francisco? (read this as a sarcastic question to highlight that people often don't know what to do with the technology they own...).

Ha! Ya, I don't think the "activity" filter" is very reliable.

I figured out why I lost tracks on the map. There's now an option for users to keep their tracks private. Not surprisingly, the tracks to many caves and fishing holes are gone.

With the "only registered users can see street level detail" update I've lost the ability to overlay this on Caltopo, even now that I've registered. Anyone have a patch/updated instructions?

I think is decades-old military technology that was used to blast places like the Ho Chi Min Trail

Given the reaction here by some to spy out the trails of others, I'm gratified at least some users of this product are waking up. It's outrageous that Strava made that data public.

What do you mean other peopleís trails? I own this world!

Itís not like the spy satellites can see me walking out of my front door or anything. Oh wait, it is like that. Good thing weíre social animals.

Iím gonna keep my thoughts on this subject private. Díoh! I guess Iíd better read cmacís privacy policy for the first time.
