Is there an intoxication test when you get stopped by LEO?
People are stupid enough already- and then they're gonna crash into you after a couple puffs for sure.

LOL yeah standard drunk test not likely to work on weed.

Maybe the cops should offer them fresh nachos, and if they eat them all fast,..................BLOOD TEST!

however, say the rising number of pot-related traffic fatalities cannot be definitively linked to legalized marijuana.

Ok ,so which is the truth ,really. I was an EMT for 20 years over here, I have never,I repeat never showed up at a scene where the guy drove into the ditch because he smoked too many bongs.

Keep believing what you want ,you have proof in numbers..

35 million in one year added to the local tax base in Pueblo. My guess is that you could of done better raising taxes and keeping the prohibition going.

HS.

It is not unclear.

I just have to say ,the age old arguments and demonizing of maryjane, sound so ,well old and very dated.

I really do not mean to be so terse.

This has to end.

Anyone out there that has a beef with legalization, should then have twice the amount of venom in them to totally ,at least twice ,to go against anything Alcohol.

You all know it.

You ,really ,DO.

And ,as far as not meeting your goals as to paying for everything ,so you do not have to.

Sorry.

It is a shame that a whole mess of stoners could not pay your share of the social contract we all live by.

There bye making it all viable.

Some people piss me off. I figure you all knew that.

Here is another thing.

Since NY legalized medicinal cannibis earler on,great universities, like the one I have been going to part time,Cornell, have been studying cannabis.

I have taken part in clinical trials.

They and SUNY are closing in on tendon/cartilage repair therapy with the use of MJ and Hemp.

Trials have had unbelievable success.

You will hear of this,soon.

A couple we are friends with that live in Bakersfield drive down to L.A. county about once a month to get to a rec-legal shop. They're our age so not exactly tuned into the black market, and don't want to settle for the limited selection a black market provider would have. It would be like going to the liquor store and your only three choices were Milwaukee's Best Light, Tanqueray, and Cinnamon Schnapps.

So I remember years ago reading a newspaper story, the author lived in a dry county in Kentucky. As I recall, he and his wife, once or twice a month did a one hour round trip to buy alcohol. There was a voter initiative to make the county wet and he found out after the election his wife voted to keep it dry. Her comment was something along the line of 'it didn't seem right to overturn the ban on alcohol sales'. Go figure.

What to do about this is problematic. It is really hard to come up with any sort of test saying this amount of THC is ok, but beyond this limit it is not ok. For starters, pot has all sorts of mind altering chemicals besides just THC and they affect different people differently.

It helps that stoned drivers probably aren't as dangerous as drunk drivers, which isn't to say that I think driving stoned is ok.

Driverless cars can't get here too soon.

A measured and thoughtful response. You can have yer license back.
Surely a blood test could be developed but that is a huge can of worms.
A plasma cranial rectal inversion multimeter is indicated.
