This was impressive. Millions of women and men marching. It's true, it is voting, not protesting, that will actually create change.
But I think that change is coming. I think I posted it elsewhere, but the progressive organization Emily's List is dedicated to helping and encouraging women to run for office at all levels of gov't. Last year, they helped 800 women nationwide. This year, they have 26,000 women signed up to run.
This can change the equation.
Callie has made the decision to run for office, and is just waiting for the right office to become available. Support her in her effort!
