There's one in Yucca Valley, from noon til 2, on Hwy 62 and 247 - so aptly A/K/A Old Woman Springs Rd....
Going to a march? I'll be at this one.

thousands in GJ, CO.
I mingled with the anti-choice counter rally, unintentionally. When I noticed, first, a rabbi in hassidic garb, and rhen saw the bulk of the fiftyish people staring at:my sign, I flipped it 'round for them to read: "ni dios, ni patron, ni marido.". they did not seem amused. when the dyke next to me spotted a former employer at center of the anti-choice group, I offered to accompany her to greet him, both of us with our pariah signs and beliefs, we waltzed into their mix and she took off to say hello and exchange pleasantries. I explained my sign to a few rather pushy old patriarchs. I made clear that irespected their right to their opinion and they seemed shocked. As they started to explain how "The Feminists came about ten years too late," they were called into a prayer huddle.
A fat little latina tween sidled up to me, explained that she could read my Spanish sign but requested that I explain its meaning. I did. She said: " well I am here today because I have to be, but know that I am over there with you in spirit". I shook her hand and effusively praised her freethinking, implored her to retain reproductive control leading into her impending adulthood. "two years!" she beamed with awkward youtful exuberance. I'da thought she was twelve, and that she was about to hassle me too. F*#k yeah, kid. venceremos!

Great story Cowboy. The March here in Olympia was well attended, but it was damp and cold, and I feel like I'm coming down with something. I stood around to get counted for an hour and a half, but went to go soak in hot water rather than walk. Got to hang with my daughter and saw lots of folks I know. Lots of great homemade signs out there, yours is graphically striking.

You know, if you folks don't like a particular policy or a particular president and want to affect policy, you should go out there and win an election.
