Moab/Indian Creek friends. Looking for some talent to go on camera next week being awesome outside for the Bears Ears campaign: hikers, bikers, thinkers, painters, land-lovers and canyon-crawlers, climbers and canyoneers, trail runners, road runners, rum runners, dreamers, poets, pioneers and all desert dwellers who want to fight the abomination of this executive land grab. It ain’t over yet - but we need your help.

The short of it is I'll be in the area filming primarily this Tuesday Dec 19 and looking for some folks to appear in a short piece to accompany a music track written and released to support Bears Ears. We're in connection with Utah Dine Bikeyah on the Native front, which is where we are focusing a lot of the energy, but as serious climbers and desert advocates I can't neglect the importance of these areas as recreational and geographic strongholds that cannot be lost. Every dime raised from the sale of the song (written by and featuring Alexis Krauss of Sleigh Bells - a gunks area climber) will go towards the lawsuits (either Access Fund, the Navajo Nation...).

Looking for talent to donate some time for vignette shots of how we enjoy and need the land - climbing, biking, hiking etc.... If interested message me here or over at chris @ chrisvultaggio .com

Thanks and viva la resistance !

I crack up at the hubub about Bears Ears. BLM land was turned into a monument for a short time and now is reverting back to BLM land.

It has a bunch of deep unminable coal under it that will never be touched.

I guess it makes a good fundraising tool for the Sierra Club, but other than that its pretty much a non issue.
