lovin' listening to the Brewers radio crew - Mr Baseball himself, Bob Uecker, and Jeff Levering. Excellent play by play and interesting extras*. Plus their promos got my mouth watering for some of those Usinger's brats.
*half an inning telling Tommy Lasorda stories, who is at the ballpark tonight. All the Hollywood stars who would drop by Tommy's office to shoot the sh#t
*that led to talk about all the famous people who have played in spring training games

Here's the history: Back in the 1940s, George Webb (the man) predicted the then American Association Brewers team would win 12 games straight and he would give away some free burgers.
But it wasn't until In 1987 that the Crew completed their first 12-game win streak and George Webb restaurants carried on the tradition, giving away more than 168,000 burgers.
In 2018, the Brewers are poised to score more free burgers for the fans.

Another great game. In both last nights game and the one today you get ninth inning drama with the game on the line, tying run on base, each teams closer facing the other teams clutch player (Turner last night, Yelich today) for the last out. This is going to be one hell of a NLCS.

Yeah, well, it makes for exciting baseball to watch, but I’m not sure it’s the mark of the best way to be playing baseball, esp in the playoffs...the Dodgers need to have their sh#t together enough to get runs earlier in the game, and then protect them. They’re pretty evenly matched with the Brewers, but they’re gonna need to play a helluva lot more solidly to face the Sox or ‘stros.
Still, I’ll take the win. Go Dodger blue!
