Hope to return with fog, or cloud; pretty much the same to me.

I'll call this 'tiny water droplets suspended in the air at or near the earth's surface that obscure or restrict visibility to a greater extent than mist (strictly, reducing visibility to below 1 km)'.
Oh, darn, I can see the sun. Maybe it is mist.
