Well that above post by Fritz was one of the most ridiculous points of view I've read in a long time.
But I'm thankful for civil disagreement and the fact that I can be diametrically opposed somebody's beliefs and still find the best in them as a human being and as a friend.
I am grateful person in general but today I am thankful for a cherished and loving family and good friends by my side as I indulge in a meal of Biblical proportion then sit idle for hours, bathing in my sloth, while parades, dog shows and football games play in the background.
Oh, and oil-less infra-red deep fried turkey.... I am thankful for that also.

I have twenty stitches in my as#@&%e after a minor but rather painful surgery. I am so f*#king thankful for Vicodin, this flea-bag hotel and a good football game!
