that was cool! thanks!..

It was interesting to compare the smoke from the Santa Rosa fire Oct 8th, to the fires earlier in the month further north. The northwest got hammered this year.

I watched this on the big screen in my classroom multiple times. Myelf and stundents were transfixed. Follow the salt on one view, smoke the next, dust the next time.

It was journalism class. We were watching it on the NPR site.

I chalked it up to the "what is news?" catagory of lessons.

Why is this news? Pure awesomeness, that's why.
