Wrong again, wilmot. Read up on the death of Shorty Shay. One of the reasons Manson wanted Shay killed is because He was married to a black woman. Manson did not like blacks.

Manson was a pretty good musician and actually recorded a demo of several songs with the help of Dennis Wilson of the Beach Boys, and he lived with him for a very short time until he asked him to leave because he was too weird. He was hoping to get a record deal and had met with record producer Terry Melcher (son of Doris Day). He felt that Melcher snubbed him so he decided to kill him. He sent his followers to Melcher's home at 10050 Cielo Drive, except Melcher had moved from that address and it was the current home of Sharon Tate so she got killed instead.

That quote of Schrecks, alone, clearly paints him as a supporter and apologist of Manson.
