Def KNOT the new "in" device for roped soloing (though they apparently used to be the bee's knees (if you could find them) for adjustable daisies before Petzl took to the adjustable daisy market)
Roped Soloing "in" Devices are still going to be the Silent Partner and maaaaaybe the new Wild Country Revo if it ever gets released into the wild.

Keep in mind that roped soloing is different from TR soloing.
If you're talking about TR soloing and accidentally misnamed it as roped soloing, then this device would be cool (no teeth, smooth movement, etc), but still require a backup system of some sort.
Probably easiest to find version of this type of ascender would be the Camp Lift.

I've only had experience with the Camp Lift so YMMV, but though this type of device moves like butter up the rope while climbing (we had planned to provide it for users that were ascending a ladder to a ropes course element) it doesn't catch 100% of the time.
In fact in our testing of the device in real world settings, the Camp Lift probably failed to catch our testers about 5% of the time. Based upon that, we did not actually use it during our season.
I wouldn't be surprised if the difference in weight and shape of the Ushba or this device might make it less prone to failure, but my taste for the flatish directional camming ascender as a safety device has soured too much for me to care to try other types of the same design out.
