It was a male again. Biology's obviously playing a part here.

One wonders if all U.S. males were to concede to chemical castration 10 months out of the year (effectively making them eunuchs) if this would cut down on these incidents.

What say the Liberals who agree with above statement set an example?
Who's going to get the ball rolling? HFCS?

Liberalism truly is, a mental disorder.....

nwo, the human brain's a curious thing.

You should pick up a copy of Incognito: The Secret Lives of the Brain - by David Eagleman. One take away: there's much we aren't conscious of.

What if everything we perceived were a deceptive, delusional hallucination?

Hey we're on the same page as long as you understand that we are evolutionary automata.

PS.

Your "delusional" is misspelled. ;)

a deceptive, delusional hallucination... designed to continuously compete, to be greedy, to produce offspring, to seek status, to survive no matter what...

Assemblyman Gallagher released the following statement:

I'm sickened to hear of yet another shooting in our schools. It is senseless and I am frankly tired of it. Our heartfelt prayers are with the victims, their families and the entire North State community.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun-Free_School_Zones_Act_of_1990

Dang those pesky criminals refusing to obey existing laws! I am frankly tired of it. Fortunately, there is a SOLID solution....

Make MORE LAWS, dang it! That will solve it!

Heh

Yet another genuine tragedy picked up by gun-control nuts for their absurd agenda.

What does it take? 100, 200, 1000 incidents of criminals violating EXISTING laws before gun-control nuts finally tumble to the FACT that more laws solve nothing?

Hard to understand those who advocate easy access to AR-15's as being sensical

Already illegal in CA...have been for years.

Pretty disgusting how you libtards IMMEDIATELY concentrate on the gun and not on the fact that a criminal(already had been arrested/investigated for domestic violence) wacko was on the street. Lock up MORE people instead of letting them go because conditions in prison are a little uncomfortable for them.

You know, screw this. I am done wasting time with you morons. You'll just have to learn the hard way I guess.

What we can do is deny them the ability to kill with deadly efficiency.

No anti-gunner has yet proposed a single, workable proposal by which to do that.

If you think that another law is the "solution," you are, flatly, insane. These nutjobs and hard-case criminals couldn't give a rat's left buttock about your laws, much less more of 'em.

Until you can dream up a way to ELIMINATE all guns (and knives and cars and gasoline that can be used in fire-bombs), the sorts of pricks that do these sorts of atrocities WILL continue to do them. The media glorifies them and even helps them with learning better tactics. And not one single law matters to them.

You literally live in a dream world of some mythical utopia that will NEVER map onto reality. Yet you are determined to bludgeon law-abiding people with your absurd perspective and lame-azzed attempts to legislate what CANNOT be stopped by legislation.

The ONLY thing that can be done is to stop these pricks as soon as their guns emerge, and that takes armed citizens.

"When seconds count, the cops are just minutes away."

So, dream on.

LOL... Dream on.

There are all sorts of solutions, but you libs don't want any of them.

Example: If you REALLY want to protect kids in "gun free" school zones, then you must very visibly position cops IN the schools. Most inner-city schools already do this because of such rampant gang activity.

Active shooters have no interest in anything but soft targets. So, ensure that schools are very obviously NOT soft targets.

A cop car or two out in front, with a couple/few cops actually on site will make active shooters look elsewhere. And they WILL find "elsewhere," because there are piles of these absurd "gun free zones" all over. But at least school-kids at school will be dramatically safer!

Or, you can just keep wringing your hands, blaming "gun-nuts," and wishing on a star for some magical legislation that these active shooters will suddenly, magically find compelling.

The Aussies came up with a solution after the Port Arthur massacre in 1997. Ain't so hard.

Here's a link to a good story about what they did:

The 1996 Port Arthur massacre resulted in legislation that saw a dramatic decline in gun crimes.

the ban on the STUDY of gun violence by the NRA controlled fed illustrates how bad the case is for these 2nd advocates in an honest assessment of the situation

its little wonder their supporters are instructed to be so dishonest in any attempts at dialogue on the subject

Dang those pesky criminals refusing to obey existing laws!

That's a very good point, MB1. Murder is against the law, yet obviously as today's events show, these laws are useless.

If you outlaw murder, only outlaws will murder.

FYI, Most people post "positive" thoughts (not just thoughts) as well as prayers....or one or the other and they post them because they care.

In the last several weeks it has become "in vogue" to denigrate those that send their positive thoughts and prayers to those that are experiencing problems and/or loss in their lives.

Jim and others....just like you cannot prove there is no God, you cannot prove that prayers and positive thoughts are worthless. If you don't provide positive thoughts what else is there? A void or a void filled with negative thoughts. Can that help?

Prayer and God, what do you really know about either? Have you studied these subjects or are you relying on knee jerk reactions because you don't want to know?

I respect those that don't believe in positive thoughts, prayer and God. I think you should do likewise for people like me that believe differently. Hey, I love people and do all I can to help out. If that includes prayer and positive thoughts, what's the problem? Lynne

Nice sentiments, Lynne. I think the criticism is mainly directed at politicians; particularly those who take vast amounts of cash from the gun lobby.
