I think j-tree's TR here is definitely gold. I've read it maybe a dozen times and it inspired me way before I knew anything about anything... granted, i still dont know much... but I knew less back then!

http://www.supertopo.com/tr/Second-Ascent-Trip-Report-Los-Banditos-5-10-A1-Machete-Ridge-Pinnacles-West-Side/t11327n.html

Totally captures the beauty of adventure and pinnacles.

I'll repost this, as I think it might've been overlooked:

Excellent Breedlove TR, though perhaps a repost from something you may already have, the new treatment is really worthwhile:

Also, nah000, each of these trip reports ought to be filed under the appropriate headers:

alright party people... time for a little new year's catchup... thanks to those who keep the faith that i will return and so keep throwing out nominations...

here we goooo...

thanks Zay, both for this nomination and the recent tr that you put up and that i'm looking forward to taking the time to read:
Second Ascent Trip Report – Los Banditos 5.10 A1 – Machete Ridge - Pinnacles West Side [j-tree: Jan. 20, 2012]

and Tarbuster... thanks for keeping the faith... gold fo sho:
Climbing with Bridwell--FA of Hoodwink, July 1972, as told by Roger and by Jim [Roger Breedlove: Apr. 9, 2018]

dragons, trucker hats, and staches from 2009... nice diggin:
Approaching a Dragon's Lair (9-2009) [TKingsbury: Aug. 5, 2009]

and regarding your last nomination? really? all of the trs by so and so? come on buster... you know the rules... ha! oh well, i guess i'll do what i'd do if it wasn't me... [and so, still: much appreciated]:
nah000 [9]

and here are a few more that were either bumped or submitted recently and that from both my perspective and a lot of the responding posters, represent some of the cream of the crop around here... and so trs that i'm also sure i'll be revisiting sometime in the future:

damn beautiful history and tr:
ALMSCLIFF, ARMSCLIFF - A GRITSTONE JEWEL; SOME HISTORY, RECOLLECTIONS AND A TRIP REPORT [Blakey: Jul. 13, 2013]

Blakey continues to kill it with great historical surveys and great stories:
BAFFIN ISLAND 1975 A BELATED TR WITH PHOTOS [Blakey: Nov. 27, 2018]

an important warning to the climbing community about the cleancut appearing but ultimately sinister Macronut and Vitaliy:
How Vitaliy and Macronut Broke Both of My Ankles and Left Me for Dead [limpingcrab, Oct. 23, 2018]

fUck yeah, sweet ass spires in siberia? who knew?:
Siberian Misadventures In Chukotka Okrug Of Russia [fgw: Sep. 10, 2018]

a story from way way out there on an edge:
The Witch and the Warlock: A Needles Climb to Fly Adventure [Jiggler: May 26, 2016]

and finally, one more addition to the all star gold producing authors list... he somehow flew under the radar for me until recently, but a view of his trip reports shows he basically produces nothing but gold... thanks Blakey:
Blakey [10+]

also a shout out to Vitaliy M. who continues to draw from a seemingly unbounded well of quality... had to update his numbers to over 90 high quality trip reports. methinks you should hit up the supertopo ownership for some free guidebooks in exchange for all of the free quality you send to this board.

and finally, finally... thanks to every.single.one of the folks who keep throwing down trip reports... always appreciated as without you, this forum would mostly just be a bunch of mostly retired from climbing, climbers, mostly arguing about politics... ha!

Yes!!! I just had to hurt myself to make the list.

Thanks for these lists, they’re fun to use when I have some time to kill and want to look for things I missed.

so interestingly enough a few trip reports that had been delisted have had their photos reinstated due to photobucket ceasing to be the complete as#@&%es that they were before... as such they've been reincluded:

A quick visit to the Valley - Trip Report [Crimpergirl: Sep. 19, 2006]
BrassNuts and Eeeyonkeee Do the Desert – TR – MANY PHOTOS! [Crimpergirl: Apr. 16, 2009]
The Sum of Bouldering=100+ Pictures [this just in: Feb. 22, 2014]
Bugaboo Pics and Words [bringmedeath: Sep. 14, 2005]

these two are still lost to the ether:
Hairline perhaps Tahoes hardest 1 pitch aid climb tr [Ron Anderson: Jun. 7, 2013]
Historical Ascent in Pinnacles NM [maculated: Dec. 5, 2005]

and unfortunately when Tami disappeared we lost this contribution as well:
We had to climb it in order to save our country. [Tami: Nov. 23, 2009]

also, there were three other links that were dead due to deletions: two by the warbler and one by valerio.

fortunately, all three were caught up in the Internet Archive's dragnet, so i've posted archived links to all three of those posts in the first post.
