Margo Hayes, who just climbed Realization (5.15a), is our speaker at the ASCA Fundraiser at Planet Granite San Francisco. There are four ways you can help out the ASCA this month:

1) Donate at SafeClimbing.org in October to have your donation matched by Planet Granite. >> Donate Here

2) Participate in Battle for Bolts at Belmont or Portland – This annual climb-a-thon happens over 12 hours overnight at the gyms! All proceeds go to the ASCA! Each B4B will also wrap up with a Pancake Breakfast that is open to all! Grab some delicious pancakes for $5 with all profits going to the ASCA.

3) Grab outdoor gear! All the proceeds from OutdoorGearLab's eBay store go to the ASCA during October. Check back October 14 to see 50+ items...

4) Live Auction Fundraiser – On October 24th at 7 pm, PG SF will host a live auction filled with excellent items. Join us and get good deals on gear, experiences, and more! Also, Margo Hayes, the first woman climber to send a 5.15a (twice!), will also be doing a presentation after the fundraiser.

Great evening with Margo Hayes on Tuesday. Almost $7000 was raised for the ASCA. Thanks to all those who attended and to Planet Granite for hosting the event and matching all the donations.

We got to 20K in donations (actually 25K) so we get the full match... over 45K for the ASCA.
