Glad to see kiddos camping in Yellow Pines, picking up trash, going to the night time programs.....

I was remiss in not posting this of High Traverse, who drove me back down to Merced on Sunday.

Thanks, good buddy!

High Traverse, a wonderful gentleman who let me outbid him for a Julia Parker basket 2 years ago. What a guy!!!

Mouse, I think those are the Johnson Kiddos. I could be wrong. They live in the Valley.....lucky ones.

Lynnie, wish I would've taken some photos of our meeting on my Birthday...perhaps the Martinis clouded my mind. Was great to see you...even though it was 24 hours late!, not a better way to spend our evening and thank you for dinner. When you get back south, give a call, we'll have our annual dinner here at Casa de Gomez. You are a great part of our family.
Peace

Gabel at the table. Has a nice ring to it.

TFPU all. Enjoyed pics, even though I couldn't make it.

I'd like to ID our flugelhorn player from Meatfest, heretofore nameless.

Jacob Raab is his name and he added greatly to the cachet of the evening with his instrument.

He is joining Piton Pete and Andre Kovacs, guitar player (who may or may not have been in on the Meatfest Musicale but I didn't know of it) on an attempt to climb the Wall of the Early Morning Light.

They'll be hauling their instruments for a First Jazz Ascent (FJA) of the route.

Glutton for punishment, aren't you, Pete? But we know it's not like that for PTPP, sho' nuff. He just likes Big Air. And he's calling this a "vacation," so...

I'll just say "good luck."

Wish I could be there to hear them play on the wall. Wow! Sonora Pass and Tioga Pass were closed today as I cruised down 395. Missing everyone.....

jstan at the Facelift. As always, he worked very hard, as did his partner Cathy. Incognito. But they had to leave on Saturday morning.

MH, that was the brown bear concocted from junk by the art students from UC Merced on Saturday, not Jstan.

Great stuff. It's cool to see Chongo back in the Valley. Did the rangers put a GPS tag on him? He might stay!
