Went out yesterday and it was a beautiful day. Wandered out to the Wonderlands and in a defense of 5.8 climbed "Breakfast of Champions." I had never climbed it before, wasn't hard enough when I was young (pfft), but now it's full value. haha Really awesome route!

Had a new climber in tow, she wasn't about BOC, but loved The Eye:

Later headed over to Run For Your Life and wisely took the follow behind Alex. Wrapped up at sun down, and forgot my headlamp again. The dementia continues to envelope me.

You never know about the weather

I remember a really cool weather weekend in JT June 2009
Cancelled plans for Big Bear and climbed in the park.
We climbed in the sun, shade was chilly.
Best part was camping in HVCG like BITD.

Yeah, seems like you could always get a spot in HVC 35-40 years ago. But, still, to me, Josh has not changed that much... not like say Yosemite.
