This new first aid guide bills itself as Essential Wilderness Medicine for Climbers, Trekkers, and Mountaineers. For 25 years as a volunteer fireman and ski instructor I kept First Aid and CPR cards current, but the courses I took were either sponsored by the ski area or fire department. I am enjoying this guide written specifically for climbers in the backcountry and alpine, but I am not qualified to review it. It seems very current, but it is not for the rucksack. I wish they had a "do list" for my first aid kit.
