hey there, say... since he daughter shared with his friends on facebook, i think that is okay, for his friends here to know, too...

without going into details, though, as that is not the point, at this moment...

but, if you need to know more, we can find a way to email,
since this one, at taco, does not work... :(

since about sept. 8 (think it was)
it was due to infection in his knee, though, i can share that much...

so, hope you can add some prayers for his daughter and for him...

thank you kindly...
i did not know him well, but he's been very nice facebook friend...

hey there say, all... oh my... oh my... very very sad...

dougs510, has just died... he passed away, in the hospital...
please keep his daughter in mind, and prayers...

a knee infection, went septic... :(

my condolences to her, and his family and loved ones...

:(

this is the quote from the facebook page, a few days ago:

For those of you who haven't heard, my daddy has been in the ICU since the 4th of this month. He's currently on a ventilator and constant dialysis. I've talked to the team of doctors that have been taking care of him, and unfortunately they feel that his time here on earth is limited. He's just not responding to anything. We are going to give him a few more days to see if there will be any improvement...if anyone has any questions please feel free to message me. I will update as soon as I here anything....

we learned he passed away, at 10:30 this morning, and she,
his daughter, was able to be by his side...

:(

he was part of our quilt in life, here...

thoughts of light for this loss. the fragility of the bursa is no joke

in many ways you are the quilt-thread here Neebee. Thank you for diluting the bad news amongst our greater Taco network, the better to assuage the pain.

Wow, this is sad and I'm glad you apprised us of this, neebee.

Life is a slender thread woven 'mongst others.

RIP, even though I never knew you, doug510.

hey there, say, thebravecowboy...

thank you... it is our past pains, that help us understand
and think of others in pain...

long hard roads, happy though they are, still have thorns,
we must use THOSE thorn-marks, to be signposts, to
remember others...

sure hope some of doug's taco friends, here, recognize
his 'handle' and will know WHY they won't HEAR from him, again, :(

it is really extra sad, when you don't hear from someone and never know why...

EXAMPLE:
i remember about jeff batten...
he seemed to DISAPPEAR and it was one caring taco-climber
that WENT searching ONLINE and found-out that he had died...

:(

he was a special part of the quilt here, and-- he shared his interests of
earthquakes and seismology meters, with us, and always posted on earthquakes, as they 'happened' to happen...
