Have to part with my Dolt Blue Boots (37 written inside). Purchased in '74. Can't find much info on them. Women's size 6. Would love to hear more info or if anyone is interested in them.

Bugster - I will love to have them in my museum if possible! I have seen a pair of these in the Yosemite Museum.

Here's a photo of the pair in Ken Yager's collection:

(but not much info there).

I also had a pair of shoes called "Bill Dolt Blue Boots" but they were identical to "Gollies" made by or for Ellis Brigham in England. Their rubber was a bit like E.B.'s (that Dolt was selling around 1967), but they were all leather like RD's. I ditched them for a pair of P.A.'s that fit and edged better.

The PM feature no longer works on Supertopo. Bugster posted the same thread on MP - you can PM through there. Hopefully these end up in the museum.

HA! :) I actually wear men's climbing shoes because my feet are wide. But there's no way in heck I'm disclosing what size.

Thanks for thinking of me, Anders.

It would be wonderful if they wound up some place they could be enjoyed by climbing history buffs.

My Dolt boots went to Marty's museum. I am very happy they found a great home.
