Are people still OK with Meatfest being a "by donation to the YCA" event?

Also, at least one person who will be there is a vegan - she's a Facelift regular. Will there be any vegan dishes, or it not that, at least some Vegans?

I'm bringing two packs of good Vegan dogs for meatfest, that's 8 dogs..
There will also be salad and garlic fries.
I just have to keep Timid away from them...

Will this be a first for Facelift?... Yosemite Falls with water flowing...

As far as I remember? Yes.

At least more than a trickle. Though it ran for a short while after the rain a few years ago.

Packed. Like Lynne, much lighter than before. Need the rest of the room for my son.

Lynne, I will bring a 2 gallon stock pot also.

I am at peace with the world today! See you all soon!

"They" say I need new calipers, rotors and pads for back brakes at $718.00. I only brought it in for a check up before I drive to the Ditch and San Diego. I have a mechanic in SD. Made them show me what they saw..... need new but wondering if I can make it home.

If they are not making noise you will be good for a little while. Back brakes last longer than fronts. How much meat on the pads? that would be the thickness of the material on the pads. I you drive it is best to stay off the brakes as much as possible. Coming down hills takes a toll. Coast as much as possible on hills.

I would be skeptical about the need for calipers and rotors unless you have issues with the brakes now. Go somewhere and just get the pads replaced.

Lynne these guys are notorious for creating business for themselves in the name of "your safety" 99% chance you'll be fine getting to San Diego.

I am bringing 62 pounds of charcoal that should be enough with what Fattrad is bringing. Also I'll be picking up a couple of tubs of beer that Dean Rosnau is donating. Good man Dean!

Getting close. I'll be in Yeller Pines Monday night ready to sing people in Tuesday. Looking forward to being back "home"

Also got word that Bill the coffee guy will not be making coffee this year for health reasons. He is OK and will be around so if you see him you might want to thank him for his service over the years.

Thanks Nita for considering our vegetarian brothers and sisters.

My plans now include attending the Meatfest. I will bring something to burn on the grill, don't know what as yet. Just returned from Europe and need to get my residual brain cells back in contact with one another. No, Anders--no more ranch raised beef. :(
