Hi amigos, can some/anyone share recent conditions on the snowfield below the North Arete? Is there a sh#t ton of snow to deal with? Crampons or Ice Axe necessary? Have those rubber spikes that easily attach to approach shoes. Did this route 9 years ago and didn't have to deal with any snow....

there will be lots of snow below the route, but it's not very steep.
The descent off the ridge has a steeper section of snow so it's best to descend that before it refreezes in late afternoon.
