Chasing Coral is also on netflix streaming, but thanks for posting this up Guido as it is new to me. Ocean acidification ... they must cover that too.

I have numerous friends involved in the mapping of reef ecosystems and their health not associated with this documentary. I'd be interesting to get their take on it.

I am of the opinion that it is far too late, the game is over and fat lady is fully into her cescendo. The Reefs will continue to disappear. It is time to document it as fully as possible like what is being shown in Chasing Coral.. and we must create a DNA seed vault for future generations to help rebuild.

We are at the end of the last generation that will know the reefs. except for perhaps some tiny leftovers that may likely survive somewhat close to healthy.. I'm working hard to spend as much time in the reefs as possible

Long story short I just moved to south Florida to purchase a decent older cruising sailboat and spend some time fixing it up before heading down to the Caribbean ...and then..we will see.
