I knew a girl from Moscow once long ago. Who would have thought there were punk rockers in Idaho?

But who else still has a Northwestern Mountain Sports T-Shirt?

The original graphics show a friend on Mt. Heyburn in Idaho's Sawtooth Mountains, with the DFC&FC below standing for our climbing club, the Decker Flat Climbing & Frisbee Club. My friends Stein & Jacques sold me the design at a very low price & we took it to a Moscow T-Shirt manufacturer, added the club motto, got a reasonable bid, took a small margin, (since it was free advertising), & sold many hundreds of the t-shirt between 1973 & 1983.

My remaining t-shirt with Harley (the cat) proudly pointing out the high-points of the design.

Some random boulder on a ridge east of Section 9 Pond. Probably in someone's yard now.

I had a recall of this moment a few weeks ago and then suddenly stumble on this picture. This was the moment it all began.

For the record. Although lost most of it's quality with no Fritz photos.

Yeah, Bummer to have all my photos deleted, although we get to be in the same photoless boat in about a week.

The computer with easily accessed photos is currently repairing itself. I'll try to remember to repost some.

Thanks Spider!
