I nominate these two.
http://www.latimes.com/nation/nationnow/la-na-youtube-stunt-death-20170629-story.html
A Minnesota woman charged with fatally shooting her boyfriend in a failed YouTube video stunt foreshadowed the event when she tweeted that it would be "one of the most dangerous videos ever."

Monalisa Perez, of Halstad, was charged Wednesday with second-degree manslaughter in the death of Pedro Ruiz III. Perez, who is pregnant, was released on $7,000 bail. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.

According to the criminal complaint filed by Norman County Sheriff Jeremy Thornton, the 19-year-old Perez told investigators that Ruiz wanted to make a video of her shooting a bullet into a book he was holding against his chest. She says she fired from about a foot away.

...Primeau said Ruiz liked guns and had "plenty" of them. Authorities say Perez used a .50-caliber Desert Eagle pistol in the stunt, which is described by retailer Cabela's in an online ad as "one of the world's most powerful semiautomatic handguns."

Perez died from a single gunshot wound to the chest.

Not exactly the sharpest tools in the shed.

Who needs a sharp tool from the shed when you've got a loaded .50-caliber Desert Eagle at point blank range?

From a foot away a shovel would have sufficed.

Honorable mention surely goes to the Chinese woman who boarded a domestic flight via the tarmac. As she walked by the engine to the stairs she tossed a handful of coins into the engine nacelle for "gud luk!" You can't make this up! Luckily, a number of people saw her.

Check out the link and watch the video. You may have to watch a truck commercial. It's worth the wait.

Classic example of "Hey man, watch this".

COLLETON COUNTY, SC (FOX Carolina) -
An Upstate man has been released from intensive care after being bitten by a rattlesnake three times while kayaking on the Edisto River.

Michael Adams, 28, was kayaking on an annual camping trip when family members said he was bitten three times on the hand by the rattlesnake. The group traveled to the nearest landing and called 911.

Colleton County Fire and Rescue officials initially said that the snake fell from a tree and onto Adams, but his brothers said Tuesday that he yanked the snake out of the river because he thought it was an alligator.

I hope the snake's OK...getting the blood of such a moron on its fangs could have serious consequences for its intelligence.

Burroughs played William Tell with his wife at a party, and afterwards at least some of those in attendance thought they were unwitting accomplices to the perfect crime. As in, who would deliberately kill their spouse in front of so many witnesses?

I tried to read Naked Lunch in college, gave up very quickly.

Watching that movie turned out to be an impromptu first date for me and my first girlfriend in college (before I tried reading the book). Sorta surprised we hit it off after a start like that! Managed to stay together for two years.

Barry drank a helicobacter concoction and won a Nobel.

Chapeau to those who try new things. Even when more of you ultimately means less of you.

Try scoring a pash while watching Alexandras Project on a first date. Painfully hard.

Only satisfaction I got was watching all you men in the audience squirm.

The state of confusion
May 25, 2018 - 09:31pm PT
From the May 28, 2018 issue of High Country News. . .
"Twenty-year-old Dylan McWilliams, who was dragged out of his
sleeping bag by the head and bitten by a bear in Colorado, a few years
after he was bitten by a rattler in Utah and, more recently was bitten
by a shark in Hawaii, is 'one of the unluckiest people on the planet,'
says National Geographic. McWilliams, who is thrilled to be
alive, disagrees, telling the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel: "I'm
thinking I should buy a lottery ticket!"
