I had the pleasure of meeting Scott at the local cafe in JT. Shortly after, he charmed me into my first climb with ropes. I hadn't told him I had a fear of heights... I was feigning bravery. I got about 10 ft up and hugged the rock like a car at bath time and cried. Scott laughed so hard that he couldn't give me audible directions that I could understand! So I used my cellphone... Called 911 and they sent 6 Park Rangers to peel me off the rock and rescued me. But I forgave him and we dated for about 5 months. We stayed friends for 3 years after that, but we lost contact. I assumed it was due to his work, now I know it was due to his passing. RIP my eternal friend! I have the funniest feeling that you're in heaven traversing around the clouds & laying some wicked routes. Scott, I will see you again in time.
