Scroll down and you'll see some pretty clear pics of boulders, now they aren't perfect for bouldering but looks like there could be stuff nearby.

Any smart people know about how that rock quality would be? Looks pretty solid in parts! Anyone know if there are better pictures of larger boulders or if any cliff faces have been found on the moon? I know there are mountains but what about sheer faces?

I believe most of the moon is made up of anorthosite, a wonderful plutonic rock found in the Adirondacks as well. And yes, lots of Fa potential, only six people have been there before and none brought any read gear. There's even 15,000 foot peaks for mountaineering.

The rock only has to be about 1/6 as strong to support the same activity as on Earth. And you can climb things about 6 times harder there! (wink, wink)

Hobo Greg - interesting! Is there any climbing on anorthosite anywhere or just little samples?
