I was surfing the web, hoping my babe would fall asleep and I realized that I hadn't visited one of my favorite sites in a while. Monsteroffwidth.com Well, I was disappointed when I discovered it was no more. It is a sad day. I appreciate the inspiration and will miss you old friend.

Peter Pan is listed in the 2010 version:
Peter Pan El Capitan, West Buttress [Bruce Hildenbrand] It starts out at about 3.5 inches and just gets wider and wider until you can chimney it. Getting over a flake which is in front of the crack at mid-height is the crux. Bring everything from 3.5 to 8" gear, one of each, and be prepared to use it.
the Leavittator is 1500' up Scorched Earth on El Cap!

Does it list the Burner variation on the Nose that climbs the beautiful offwidth directly above the Dolt Hole. I wonder if that one has seen many repeats since Dale(?)first did it?
Christina- How many are still left on your ticklist?

Yes, unfortunately Monsteroffwidth.com is no longer. I just didn't have the time to keep it in decent shape and reluctantly decided to let it go some time back.
Most of the Needles info is duplicated on Clint's website and there is in any case the new guidebook now.

Lists, by their very nature, invite controversy....if only because of exclusions. If you see a crack too big for fists, jump on it....you'll get your knee in eventually.

Clint, thank you for the link.
Steve, there are always more. The original list was quite extensive. And then of course there are some you want to do again.
Ed, I would love to start my own site, but there are so few of us that might enjoy it.
Baby and I have to find new ones to grow the list even longer:)

Ed, I would love to start my own site, but there are so few of us that might enjoy it.
when we started to make the OW list, no one thought they would "enjoy" it... but some did, and eventually things started to change.
Valley Giants, high top shoes, and a whole renaissance of wide climbing...
I'm not taking any credit for that except the fact that we posted up what we did... in fact I think I remember taking sh#t for it
"you're the guy who fails on those 1960's climbs, right?"
guilty, of having a lot of fun...
anyway, Christina, you should start your own site.

Christina,
More people would enjoy the site than you might think. Another vote for starting your own.
