I understand that Tom Beck passed away today. A very sad day. I spent many fine days out climbing with Tom. He will be greatly missed by all. He lived large, shared much, and made our lives more awesome.

Such sad news...
We used to do some climbing together in Josh. Since then he's invited me a few times to come to Vegas and do some routes together. I figured I would one day, a missed opportunity I profoundly regret.

Tom was a very long time Josh climber and for many years lived in the area, Tom was passionate about climbing and Joshua Tree National Park in particular. He established a number of FAs in Josh and at Red Rocks. Sorry to hear of his passing.
