Yeah, it's going to be a zoo. Just figured I'd throw out an invite to any NE Supertopo people to meet up and hang out. I've been on this forum for over a decade and have only met two of you so far.

Yeah, I'm fully, fully, off the couch right now. Doesn't matter though, I've been going there for more than twenty years. I'll huff myself up some easy stuff and be satisfied.

Anita, for sure let me know if you're down there. It's only an hour from my house.

Totally, Rumney is the schist, man.

Where is THAT Wilbeer? I found some cracks when I was there but that was not one of them.

That's Blackjack Crack in the Blackjack Boulders--10 c or d if I remember correctly--very close to the soon-to-be new parking lot. Not many--any--other cracks like that at Rumney.

Thanks Alan. That goes on my list of things to do 2 or 3 Octobers from now. Mid-week of course...

I walk by this crack--it is only a minute from the road--every time I head up to the Northwest area crags and, other than when we've done it, I only recall seeing another party on it once in many visits (most on weekends)--such is the way things are at Rumney these days.

Alan,
That is one of the few climbs I have done at Rumney. Haven't been back there in years.

It was a damn good time. Met folks from all over and led a wicked easy .8 for my first moves on rock in over a year. Forgot how sharp that stone is.

If anyone ever wants to meet up there, I'm game.

Anyone want to climb this weekend? Rain should keep the crowds away, and there are plenty of moderates for me to attempt that stay dry in wet weather. Starship Enterprise crag springs to mind.
