Hello
I'm a Marmot rep in the PNW selling off a bunch of pretty much brand new Marmot 8000m jackets (and one suit). We've used these as try-on jackets at events but you'll literally put more wear and tear on one in the first day of real use than these have seen in the year we've owned them.

I have all sizes except small and XXL and the suit is a medium. If your ice climbing partner is always bitching about being cold, you're guiding in the Himalaya or even on Denali with pokey clients and you get cold standing around this jacket is the Holy Grail. Happy to send pics to those interested but you'd do just as well to Google it because they're basically new. All serious offers considered. Email me at ryan at yukontradingcompany dot com if you want to be warm wherever and whenever.

Thanks,

Ryan

Do they come with Sherpas, permits, and short ropes? ;-)

There might be a permit in a pocket somewhere. There's several and they're big pockets.

I'll for sure hit up cc.com, as soon as the "forgot my password" link works.

A women's medium is typically a men's small, all other things being equal. It certainly depends on the "chestal region" which is, of course, the proper industry term. Actually, get the men's medium, then there's room for additional layering which I can't fathom needing with this jacket but then again, I can't fathom needing this jacket for anything.

Is there a "gutal region" by industry terms?

I think the proper term is "moobs"

lol, clearly a good sales pitch.

One thought is to plop a spouse down in one for those freezing bivy sites while making chow/having cocktails, then you have a better chance of not having to drive to warmer climates the next morning.

Ryan.

Why the big secret?

Why not tell us the price?

What are you hiding?

Ha! Hiding nothing. Sorry. I'm used to some level of sensitivity on discounted pricing showing up online.

Here's the link to Marmot.com for the 8000m jacket. They still make it.

https://marmot.com/men-jackets-and-vests-insulated/8000m-parka/72880.html

They are $300 each. I'll repost if that pricing comes down but based on demand thus far I doubt that it will. It's already a couple hundred bucks less than what I've seen online.

Here's the inventory I have left:

Black jacket-
one medium
one double extra large

Yellow/blue jacket-
two mediums
one large
one extra large

Yellow/red jacket
one medium

Yellow/red 8000m suit
one medium
