Change happens, and long-time employee Anthony G left a month or so ago. The job is doing the maintenance work on carriage roads and accompanying structures (kiosks, bridges drainage).

I know that you know that Skytop is Skytop, but for those who don't - Working at the MP does allow a person the ability to bring guests in to the preserev with them, which is nice if you have visiting friends and/or family. As an employee you also have access to drive up to the Mountain House and park in employee lots near the building, instead of hiking in from visitors lot(1.5 miles) and no day use fee. But climbing at Skytop is not an official perk of the job.

If you can solo, & If you don't mind gettin' fired... ~ Sound & Fury (5.8) (on the right)
(The finger crack Open-cockpit on the left)

The things one can run up in the moments of the dawns early light Go left, up -Petie's Spare Rib- (the white face, on the corner, left of all the overhangs, 5.4) get it wire'd 1st, climb down Lake View
The wide-ish crack, 5.4, (on the right)but unlike Sound&Fury that is all in plain sight!

I miss those climbs. Skytop was the best cragging crag in North America and possibly the world.
