The Tahoe Adventure Film Festival (TAFF) is not your typical stuffy film festival. This fun high-energy evening will fuel your passion for action, and ignite your senses for adventure. The TAFF highlights the best adventure sports films of the year and showcase the action sports world best talent.

All of the films are specially selected and edited to fit the festival's fast pace format. The evening is exciting and entertaining on and off the screen. TAFF organizers spend hours pouring over footage, narrowing down the film submissions to the top 10 from every corner of the Action Sports World. From there each filmmaker produces a special 10-12 minute clip or segment to be premiered at the festival.

TAFF’s first Road Tour stop will once again be hosted by Sonoma County’s Rock Ice & Mountain Club at Petaluma’s Mystic Theatre. The RIM Club has been a pillar of the North Bay climbing and adventure community since 1994.

Thanks Jerry and RIM Club for bringing this to the North Bay-hoping to see you and others there! But first, I must try to get through to Kirkwood today to get snowed into position for next week!

Yeah, for various reasons I missed the first 3 cold(er) storm sequences, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna miss this one.

Yahoo, that was fun! Petaluma knows how to party (especially compared to Sonoma zzzzz.) Thanks again RIM club, B-Rad, Todd, Kirkwood and other sponsors. I'm adequately stoked to pack the van for a trip back to the Rockies on Monday. Oh, and speaking of KW, we did have chair 6 from Wagon Wheel out to Palisades to ourselves and bottomless powder last Monday. Bless KW for opening just for those who got snowed in; they could have easily just stayed shut down.
