Hi guys.

Yep, still lurking on here.

I know it's off topic and not climbing related, but it is about our beloved Sierra. It was made by Ozone, the big paragliding company.

The Sierra section of the film starts at about 5 min and 30 seconds. Enjoy. https://vimeo.com/196980440

Thanks for sharing your realized dream of multiday, long self-supported adventures. not everyone is a birdman, but we all get the tickle from seeing you folks play the filaments and the air currents so!

3000 vertical feet a minute hanging from a rainbow bedsheet?! Yeah, I'd pee myself. :p

Nice vid. Thanks for posting it.

I was a parapente passenger one time in Medellin, want to get into it someday. Living on the edge of the rocky mtns, I'd love to be able to climb a 14'er, then paraglide back to the parking lot. Is this legal? I thought they only allowed 'hang gliders' in certain places but if you could just go paragliding where ever you wanted, I'd get into it asap.

Thank you! This was amazing. It so makes me want to take up this sport! It seems SO much better than wingsuit--a LOT safer, too. The idea of cross country travel is really inspiring. Great stuff.

Didn't see this post before by Dave Turner. Wow very cool.

This is really a great film truly. Appropriate name too. Love it.

Makes me want to go get my paraglider and go flying ... :D

Paragliding, like climbing, is life changing. I can't imagine not being able to climb, ski, scuba, free-dive, surf, SUP, skate, and paraglide. I really love doing it all.

A prayer to Hashem for all of us ...

May we all have good health and safety throughout all our lives so that we all can continue to adventure to the very bitter end when our physical bodies finally give-out on us late into our 90s or well beyond. And may we be surrounded by loving family and friends filled with abundant happy memories of complete satisfying adventure when that final physical end comes ...

TFPU! As climbers we are creatures of habit. Whether it's climbing cliffs or difficult peaks we come to the "what else"? For some it may be whitewater. But we as climbers watch the birds. Paraglidinging you are with the birds!

Dave Turner is the man when it comes to Vol-Biv in the US for sure and doing extraordinary flights and crossings. Think about it. There aren't many of us paraglider pilots in the USA as compared to Europe. And among the pilots in the USA (maybe 4000 or so total pilots) there are only a few who do Vol-Biv. The adventures and the records to be set world-wide are wide-open. Its very much untapped adventure. It's really just beginning.

Here is another who is doing it ...

That's some really crazy sh#t!
What kind of nut case wants to hang from a flimsy nylon sheet, when they could be gripping solid rock?
One has to question what kind of parenting these people received?
