Decades after hueco tanks Texas was closed to non paid permitted very limited climbing access fund still has never taken legal action to reopen it. That inaction and toothless behavior is the future. The access fund is a marketing arm of Chrysler and the climbing industry.

That's how it's done.
They scream to save a frog all while simultaneously causing undue pain and slaughtering millions of animals and eating them.
The hypocrites know how to do this and always masquerading their bullsh!t as some noble benevolent cause toward mankind and nature ....

Rick A:
One of two things have happened by now - and both justify re-opening Williamson.
Either the frogs are thriving, and the closure should be lifted now that it's done its job.
Or
The frogs have not recovered, and the closure is proven to be a failure and should be lifted.

the missions of the two organizations are not equivalent,
American Alpine Club: To support our shared passion for climbing and respect for the places we climb.
Access Fund: we are on a mission to protect climbing access and the integrity of America’s outdoor climbing areas.

Alpine club doesn't have a real clear understandable mission in 2017 and the insurance coverage is weak. Has anyone here used it?

Yea I was shocked that cliffs are closed at city of rocks ID because a settler took a dump there 200 years ago. And it's a miniature josh. No reason to go there or support the local economy
