Cheating a little: this is on the way back from the climb (but we did have to cross it on the way there, so...)

I hate getting wet, so I don't have anything spectacularly miserable to show. Crossing the Athabasca Glacier outflow less than a mile below the glacier last summer sucked, but it was long rather than deep. Here's a cool bit of Canadian engineering near Mount King George, polished by the passage of many crotches:

The classic crossing getting to MLB in Zion. This is after bringing in the haul bag, and in high water. I'm sure many have done this one!

Oh - and there's that time we took our Matrix to Indian Creek. The water was almost up to the windows but speed and determination won out.
Unfourtunately Jaybro's car wasn't so lucky a few hours later in the same spot.

Daks in 05 neither one of us had any real experience with tyrolean methods. the thin wire cable made it quite difficult...

Huh, randomly clicked the thread and there I am .......https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KcEPtMOSmc&t=1sremember for a few years running was first climbs of the season at winlsow. Geeeze this year with the lack of snow could have climbed all winter. What a wonderful place. Oh back in the day .........when we first laid eyes on it. We went down there with a 100# of gear to hear the buzz of the sport climbing birth . Nature et. al were like 'what are you guys doing here '? We came to climb the cracks . I think we were good entertainment as they were to my partner Doug D. We climbed trad , they put in routes. We watched them, they watched us. So many good routes of each flavor. One of the best compact areas I've been to. Keep it beautiful, watch your impact and enjoy.
P.S. check out the vid on youtube after this onehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7JoWNniUb4........er ...nice footwork:) There are so many good water solo lines. Seems like if you use your imagination you can still get great FA's. We had the awesome little speed boat with depth finder like these folks. Didn't have the camera crew or pretty girls ( well sometime we did !). Good times
