...Trumps position against TPP patently declares his ignorance of geopolitics and the precise purpose of TPP to diminish China's influence in Asia, India, and Australia.
He is playing into China's international geopolitical Go game as bumpkin-in-chief and setting us up to be China's bitch.
Note: China is currently on track to be the largest economy in the world by 2020. Their One Belt, One Road Policy is designed to develop worldwide control over natural resources.

I would like to see a reporter engage Trump with the following:
"Mister Trump,as you know, credit card fraud in the U.S. topped $8 Billion in 2015*, and many of the cyber criminals hail from Russia and Ukraine. As you and Rex Tillerson have declared intentions of a warming relations with Russia, will you negotiate a deal on extradition to the US on their citizens who perpetrate these crimes?"
The cost of a pair of damned planes for a new Air Force One pales in comparison to the hemorrhage of money being syphoned off our economy via cybercrime. I'd also like to know where all that money is actually going. How much cocaine and prostitutes can one hacker buy in a lifetime?

That's nonsense. We don't know that. That activity could be coming from China or anywhere.

President-elect Donald Trump said the United States would not necessarily be bound by the One China policy unless it could “make a deal,” potentially on U.S.-China trade.
A Communist Party-controlled newspaper called the president-elect “as ignorant as a child.”
What is interesting is the dynamics of the relationship of speaking. This cannot be interpreted as anything but a smack-down of Trump's intellect.
Trump has demonstrated that he does not tolerate this sort of disrespect.
China will not back down, I don't think. Respect may be personal with Trump, but it is institutional and cultural with the Chinese. Form REALLY matters.
I think they are perplexed by Trump. For the most part, the world deals with rational leaders, who have clear agendas. I think Trump is a mystery, because he does not fit the mold of any previous president in our lifetimes.
